Hi Yah, I downloaded the Avira uninstaller yesterday for removing the antiviruis, but it was unable to remove the application. Finally, I downloaded the original antiviruis from the Avira website and get it removed by running the application.Stay happy

Yes I would like to post a comment on the Avira Antivir product, it\'s been over a year since I \'uninstalled\' your product, but every time I try to upgrade my Operating System even after using the removal tool and rebooting the system Windows 7 still refuses to install due to Avira Antivir leftovers, get your house in order please, I want to be free of your product. This tool worked great, I tried installing Avira about three or four times and kept getting a message that a previous version was still installed.After running this tool and it cleaned up the registry it installed without a problem..I will definitely use it again even if I have to pay for it.

I tried to download the Avira removal tool, with NO success. Did not happen.Avira was recently recommended by Consumers much to my dismay. It is an invasive infective.I would like to say malware; but do not want to be sued.I am still living with the insidious problem.

I download Avira from my laptop to a jump drive and then to a desktop infected with System Tool 2011 v 2.20. However, the infected desktop will not permit the down load telling me that Avira is infected and cannot be activated.Any suggestions?Bob

I was trying to find a product to totally remove Avira Antivir Personal Edition which is impossible to remove from my computer. I have done everything including re-install it and try to totally remove it again - nothing has worked - I have gone into the Registry and removed all traces, etc. - it remains !!! I recently downloaded what was presented as a part of security essentials but turned out to be a rather nasty virus.Tried SMS uninstall, made it worse. System restore helped but barely. Managed to get Avira and ran it. Great job. Worked beautifully. Three days later and still have some minor issues,but working OK.Solid product,I highly recomend!

Advertised as a free Tool. Once downloaded and scanned computer and found problems - you are then told you have to pay so much to buy program to fix problem. It was not free at all. I went and bought a known program as at least they advertised it would cost something and I trust them more than someone who advertises something that is free when it is not. Cheers Glenn

Opinion. It's very nice it helped me out. But it is some what slow take some time but very nice soft ware.

I have tried Avira AntiVir Removal Tool and a couple of other products and all of them have had varying degrees of detection; i.e. some will detect things that others dont.Overall all three products do delete what they detect but they have not been completely successful in permanently removing all the malware from my system. They just keep coming back.

Stration worm not found Hi all,It might have been a false alarm. After running that tool, I did not get any response saying that the computer was infected. The system is clean.Thanks anyways

missed it by that much... Your free product was easy to use and seemed relatively fast as it searched through the files. Sadly, it did not inspect the files in the hidden System Volume Information subdirectory - which is where another program kept reporting the infected file was to be found. I was in no danger unless I did a system restore, but had the other program (System Suite 7) not alerted me I could have unwittingly reinfected my system. I realize gaining programmatic access to the hidden system directory may be difficult (it certainly was manually with XP Home) but this does seem like something ...

Bad Tool This tool does not detect or remove the stration virus. Hopeless

Failed to remove virus Norton antivirus says the computer is infected with w32.stration@mm I ran this tool and it was unable to remove it. It could be a new version of the virus.

poor removal as a customer i am dissatisfied, the programe could recognise w32 but not remove it

I know that my computer on Network detected w32.downadup.b. I try to clean it by using many Worm Removal Tools including your Removal Tool.But the result is that It could find any worm. No good for repairing hard drive`s I was looking for a utility to repair bad sectors on my hard drive but this does not give me the option to do this only for floppy disc's.

I need more information. The information to user, is poor, and the use of this software is easy, and the options very good. But the information to me about what sector is failed and if the track 0 was repaired is bad, and finally I don't know if was repaired track 0 and I want know about track 0 maybe it's status.

Something worng I was looking for a diagnostic and recovery tool for CF Microdrives and USB sticks. After downloading that ISO file I burnet it to CD. Then I started this program under WinXP and I noticed something DOS like. That's all - no further operation!Sorry

Kill your hard drive. Sorry to say, but this happend to me my hard drive was working a bit with some bad sectors but after using unistal software this is totally dead now.

Bad sector removal This program does not provide me the functionality I was looking for. My specific and immediate need was to mark a number of sectors bad on a region of my hard drive.

Hi: Nothing would take it out, as the virus would not even let me boot to the C promt or in safe mode. I had to format my computer and start all over again. Thanks for the help as I am sure your software is good, but didn\'t help in this instance.
